Roof Repairs & Roofing Services in Coventry
What Pinnacle Roofing Specialists does, and what each job involves. A local roofer for homes and businesses in Coventry, Bedworth and Nuneaton.

Roof Repairs in Coventry
Most roof repairs start with something small: a slipped tile, a cracked slate, mortar that has fallen out of a ridge or verge, or a piece of flashing that has lifted in the wind. Left alone, each of them lets water in, and water in a roof travels. The damp patch on your ceiling is often some way from the hole it came through.
Jamie finds where the water is actually getting in, shows you what he has found and gives you a fixed price to put it right. Repairs cover tiled, slate and flat roofs, on houses and on commercial buildings.
If you have a leak or storm damage that can’t wait, call rather than use the form. Jamie will tell you how soon he can get to you and what can be done to make the roof safe in the meantime.

New Roofs & Re-Roofing in Coventry
When a roof has reached the end of its life, patching it becomes a false economy. A re-roof strips the old covering back to the rafters, replaces the felt with a modern breathable membrane, fits new battens and lays a new covering, so the whole roof is sound, not just the part that leaked last winter.
Pinnacle fits new and replacement roofs in natural slate, clay tile and concrete tile, and matches the covering to the house and the street. Ridges, hips and verges can be finished with dry-fix systems, which are mechanically fixed and have no mortar to crack and fall out.
The work covers new builds, extensions and garages as well as full re-roofs, for domestic and commercial customers. You get a free, fixed-price quote before anything starts, and new roof installations carry a guarantee of up to 25 years.
- Full re-roofs
- Slate, clay and concrete tiles
- Breathable membrane and new battens
- Dry ridge, hip and verge systems
- Extension and garage roofs
- Guarantee of up to 25 years

Flat Roofing in Coventry
Flat roofs have a poor reputation they no longer deserve. The old felt roofs that blistered and split were built with materials that have long been improved on, and a properly built flat roof today is a long-term job.
Pinnacle installs three systems. EPDM is a rubber membrane, usually laid in a single piece with no joints across the roof. GRP is glass fibre and resin laid over new decking boards to make a seamless, rigid shell. Modern felt is built up in layers and is still a sound, economical choice for many roofs. Jamie will tell you which suits your roof and why.
Whatever the covering, the deck underneath matters as much. Soft or rotten boards are replaced, not covered over, and the roof is finished with proper edge trims and flashings where it meets a wall.
- EPDM rubber roofing
- GRP fibreglass roofing
- Felt roofing
- New decking where needed
- Extensions, garages and dormers
- Domestic and commercial

Chimney Repairs & Leadwork in Coventry
A roof rarely leaks in the middle of a slope. It leaks at the joins: around the chimney, along a valley, where a roof meets a wall or where a pipe comes through the tiles. Those junctions are sealed with lead or with mortar, and both wear out.
Pinnacle repoints and refurbishes chimney stacks, renews lead flashing and soakers, relines valleys and carries out lead roofing. If mortar is falling out of your chimney or the flashing has lifted, it is worth dealing with before the water finds its way in.
Improving roof ventilation is part of the same work. A roof space that can breathe stays dry, which protects the timbers and helps keep condensation and damp out of the house.

Fascias, Soffits & Guttering in Coventry
The roofline does a quiet but important job. Gutters and downpipes carry rainwater away from the walls, fascias carry the gutters and close off the ends of the rafters, and soffits let air into the roof space. When any of them fail, water ends up where it shouldn’t: down the brickwork, behind the fascia or into the rafter ends.
Pinnacle repairs and replaces fascias, soffits, guttering and downpipes, usually in uPVC, which needs no painting and won’t rot. Old timber is checked and replaced where it has gone soft, not simply capped over.
It is often worth doing this work while a scaffold is already up for a re-roof. Ask for both to be priced together.
- uPVC fascias and soffits
- Gutters and downpipes
- Repairs and full replacements
- Rotten timber replaced
- Leaking joints fixed
- Low maintenance

Roof Maintenance & Moss Removal in Coventry
A roof that is looked at now and then lasts longer and costs less. Moss holds water against the tiles and breaks off into the gutters, where it blocks them. Small cracks in mortar and flashing widen over a winter. An inspection finds these things while they are still small and simple to fix.
Pinnacle removes moss and cleans roofs, clears the gutters afterwards and can apply a stone tar and chip coating for extra protection against the weather. Any tiles found cracked or loose along the way are dealt with at the same time.
Maintenance goes under the tiles too. Weakened or rotten joists and rafters are replaced, so the structure that holds the roof up is as sound as the covering on top of it.

- Moss removal
- Roof cleaning
- Stone tar and chip coatings
- Joists and rafters replaced
- Leak detection
The method
How a re-roof works
A new roof is more than new tiles. Most of what makes it last is in the layers you will never see again once it is finished.
Survey and quote
The roof is inspected and measured, and you get a clear, fixed price before anything is ordered.
Strip and check
With the scaffold up, the old covering comes off and the rafters are checked. Any soft or damaged timber is replaced.
Membrane and battens
A breathable membrane goes over the rafters, then new battens, set out to suit the tile or slate being laid.
Cover and finish
The new covering is laid, then ridges, hips, verges and leadwork are finished and the gutters and site are cleared.
